Bronchial Asthma is a desease caused by inflammation. What is inflammation? Well inflammation is mucus that increases inside the lungs and the result is to cause narrow of the airways, which means that the air can not pass in and out of the lungs, inflammation can cause lack of O2, if not treated properly, and death following sometimes.

The airways are tubes, they bring the Oxygen in and out of the lungs. People who suffer from  asthma they have mucus, inflammation in their tubes. When the airways react to transfer the Oxygen in the lungs it is difficult and  then the muscles around them tighten. This narrows the airways, causing less air to flow in to the lungs.
You can understand easy if someone has asthma with the symptoms. If your muscles are tighten trying to transfer the Oxygen, the breath become rapid, quick, you have a wheezing sound, small children usually say that their breath is like small “ kitten” , asthma patients have shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.
