 What is bedsores?

Bedsores is the damage of continuity of the skin in areas of the body especially bony aereas,  decubitus patients, patients lying all day in their beds for a very long time, e.g quadriplegics, orthopedic valent with fractures, in severe cases.
Ischemia occurs in that region, tissues is not perfused  as they should and result in insufficient supply of oxygen tissues and other components necessary for the proper operation resulting in their death.

 The sores begin:
  • from simple redness
  • then small  skin damage with pink colour
  • then beginning to get depth
  • and more severe, is a large cave and in many cases worms appear. (be careful)

Pressure sores show how much care has been given by an individual in their lives.  A patient without care comes with many sores all over his body. If someone does not have the quality care  pressure ulcers are cavernous and lead to death.
