🌐 The Digital Double Edge: Internet Addiction and its Profound Impact on Health The Internet, the greatest tool in human history, began as a revolutionary source of knowledge, communication, and freedom. In the modern era, it has transformed into a Digital Ocean, where navigation can be both beneficial and destructive. While connectivity offers countless advantages, excessive, compulsive, and uncontrolled use has given rise to a new, serious form of dependency: Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) . IAD is not merely about spending too much time online. It is a condition where Internet use becomes the dominant activity in an individual's life, causing significant distress and functional impairment in all areas of daily life: personal, social, academic, and professional. Although it has not yet been fully included as an official diagnosis in the main diagnostic manual DSM-5 (with the exception of "Internet Gaming Disorder"), the clinical and research community recognizes i...

The Loneliness Of Elderly

Elderly!  It is the age that he would get all like it or not. The old parent, the elderly neighbor, our old friend, all will grow old someday and our forces will begin to leave us, is painful, things we used to do will not be able to do it, old age does not concern the other old age concerns us most and we will grow old and we will be powerless and we will need some time someone visits us we can open the door of our house.
Old age ....... It is painful, the former prolific worker now locked up in the house, the man who once had his life ahead of him, the then young man who fell in love, he loved, which made family, who worked hard to meet the needs of society, the  young now an old man, lying on a bed all day for many years that pass excruciatingly slowly because time flows differently in this great age, because it is not engaged in anything, time passes.
Locked inside a house, lying on a bed waiting and anxious when you knock on the door of one old friend, if you live, a grandchild to knock on the door, a child to open his arms and say that he loves. Parents elderly and alone, abandoned in institutions of their own children because they can not look after them, they work all day to make a living and unable to look after their elderly parents, parents who sacrificed their youth working for these children. Those old people do not end up in an institution and are lucky to be in their homes know loneliness.
Lucky to be close to their children. A plate of food and a bathroom.  All other times they are  lying in a bed, alone and waiting for death to find him like a redemption. We are born and we die alone, this is the tragic truth.

Those who have their own children, children missing all day in job to earn their living, do not have time, and if you have time it is very difficult and arduous to keep companion to an elderly who only thinks of, is death.
What about the elderly those with no children, who live alone, abandoned? They can of course abandoned  to society in institution for elderly e.t.c but in today's society we live in a society with crisis in all institutions, a society and a time when literally plagued by debts, a society that does not recruit staff for the care of these people end up dying helpless within the institutions themselves and, like animals.
